Dan Wilson, creator of the SteadiWare line of eating utensils, was a brilliant and caring man who wanted nothing more than to help people. When diagnosed with Parkinson’s himself, Dan searched far and wide for a utensil that would allow him to eat in spite of his hand tremors. His search was fruitless. Being a consummate problem-solver, he decided to create his own set of utensils for himself. Dan found them to be so successful that he wanted others with hand tremors to have them as well. He applied for and gained a patent on the utensils in 2013.
While Dan passed away before he could bring his plans to fruition, SteadiWare LLC is working to realize Dan’s dream of helping millions who will benefit greatly from his ingenious design.
